Meet the students at Scotland’s first blockchain technology laboratory, which was launched by IOHK and the University of Edinburgh in February 2017.
A result of a unique partnership between the blockchain industry and academia, the lab at the university’s School of Informatics is led by Professor Aggelos Kiayias and brings together academics and students to collaborate on blockchain research and development with a focus on solving real world problems.
The first batch of students to be part of the blockchain technology lab explain what drew them to the emerging technology and discuss the challenges that interest them, such as scalability and privacy.
