The status of the USD as a global currency is closing to this average, and there are many signs which could be read as pointing to its decadence. This should be, Black Swans allowing, a long term decline, so we have time to adapt, and in front there will be radical changes, whether to another fiat currency or else to a crypto or similar digital global currency for the 4th IR. Meanwhile, USD is king, even if the Empire is tumbling.
