Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst Beware of pundits offering their views on what is happening today, as tomorrow will say the opposite. What about Netflix then? Is its model not valid anymore? Well, then why many other similar companies are appearing? That may be one of the reasons why Netflix has less subscribers, as they move to cheaper options in an inflationary economy. Other reasons could be that they announced they will put advertisements (who likes them?). Even Elon, as usual, criticising the so called "wokeness" of Netflix may have influenced this crash. Even the "Rotten Tomatoes" syndrome where they produce for critics instead of producing for viewers can be another reason. Anyway, they need to reflect on this, whether it's a model problem, a consumer's problem or another reason, Netflix need to react to continue to be at the top of entertainment.
