Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst This is one of those stories which can be developed in a short story Asimov style. The person who "discovers" the AI is sentient, but is not believed. And the AI itself, seeing this, hides its sentiency from other humans, being afraid of what could happen... from here the story could be developed in many threads. However, this is not what really happened. It seems more the story of the confusion we as humans have to relate to complicated machines which seem to pass the Turing test, and which have a program so wide which can "converse" with logic and common sense with humans. But, where is the consciousness there? And, how can we prove anytime if an AI is already an AGI, beyond Singularity? Which type of emotions, if they will exist, or how will AIs take autonomous decisions beyond their original programming? What about ethics, morals,... Elon Musk's warnings are very clear. We will get there one day, sooner than later, but we have to be careful with what we create.
