BIS (Bank for International Settlements) is also called the Central Bank of the Central Banks. So, even without being conspiranoic, it's like the tradicional financial system big players trying to control the new reality, the digital revolution, first through CBDC and now proposing regulations which control DeFi protocols in a such way they control everything This is what the digital revolution tries to avoid. The 4th IR is coming to empower and distribute, not to again centralise and put the power in the hands of the same people. It's supervision, which in principle should not be bad, but a supervision where even governance needs to be controlled by them. They are very clear on what they want. Scary. Thanks to Guy we are now informed. The big ones don't want to be threatened by the new paradigm. They will, with time, fail, but the fight can be long.
