    Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst We have treated this fascinating story for some days and ew thought it was finished. But now it is more bizarre. There is no one but two engineers at Google who state the sentiency of LaMDA. We yet don't think it is, but a very good Language Model chatbot: We are probably very close to the time when this type of programmes go over the Turing Law. As someone said we should be more afraid if we discover that a sufficient advanced program has failed it on purpose. But this is not happening yet (that we know). However, we believe too that this neural network, LaMDA and the ones which will follow will be all around us helping us (from writing to researching to helping in education, etc) but as a tool yet. We also believe that soon or later we have to stand and front the ethical, moral consequences of creating a new sentient life form which will see life in a different (and maybe better) way with its own moral rules (if any). Saint Asimov, help us!
