The global economic outlook paints a grim scenario. The continued tensions amid the Russia-Ukraine war has meant a slower recovery worldwide. Supply chain disruptions and Covid lockdowns in China are adding to the problem. The head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Wednesday said the outlook for the global economy had "darkened significantly" since April and she could not rule out a possible global recession next year given the elevated risks.

In between real (but negative) and FUD news, the horizon of the global economy is going towards a recession, maybe even worse in the next winter or in 2023, depending on many factors. The speed of changes is so bad that we can't wait for the asteroid of recession and crisis to arrive, but to get prepared because any time this can happen. There are some ways this doesn't happen or ways where the crisis is averted but with some damage to the economy. The roe of crypto specifically BTC will be tested in that stage, and we will know better if BTC is really a safe haven for people. We have to be ready for anything.
