Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst The blockchain could be used to improve the field of Food Industry and Supply Chains, and this is more urgent now than ever. This is not a new talk, however. Since the beginning of "discovering" the radical use cases for this new technology, rivers of digital ink have ran out, and different companies have tried using the blockchain in different scales how to make food industry platforms (with less success) and Supply Chains (with more success). During this time we have learned a lot on how to use it, where to use it, where it is not necessary, but we have failed to implement real global solutions based on blockchain due to many challenges. Maybe now with the urgent need to improve, transform even revamp these sectors, useful blockchain based solutions will appear. We are just in the early years.
