Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst The question title on this ALJazeera program has many answers, and many are not positive. World leaders, mainly politicians, really won't do anything with the actual geopolitical situation. Many things have already been done before, mainly on developed countries, to go for a more climate friend economy, changing social mores to be more careful individually and as communities, etc. But it is not enough for many. And the appearance of extreme opinions make normal people doubt and continue their lives, busy as they are with their personal problems. Only when they are directly affected by disasters they see the need to change. But politicians, unfortunately are not known for their long term thoughts, with exceptions. What can we do? Educate better, push more for innovative solutions, adapt and educate in resiliency, and push our so called leaders to understand we are not even talking about the next generation but already our own generation living in this planet. In this program there are many examples which you can see.
