Recommended Listen: Who Owns All the Bitcoin? | Bloomberg Crypto (youtube.com)
Since the founding document that led to the invention of Bitcoin first appeared in 2008, Bitcoin’s true believers have adopted a philosophy that resembles “one for all and all for one." Bitcoin is often mentioned as a means to improve financial inclusion, to allow people oppressed by their governments to maintain or reclaim a sense of freedom. In Bitcoin, everyone’s equal - or so the theory goes. But does the theory match the reality of the ecosystem? On today's episode, Data Scientist Alyssa Blackburn and Dr Erez Lieberman Aiden, an Associate Professor of Molecular and Human Genetics at Baylor College of Medicine, join to discuss their research into who controlled Bitcoin from those early days.

Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst This podcast is extremely interesting. There is no hype, no clickbait, only an explanation on the study done about Bitcoin, who are the first owners and miners, how this happened and developed until now, and the gap between the ideas and ideals of the first ones in this space plus Nakamato, and the reality where there are challenges of centralisation versus decentralisation, speculation, maximalists, etc. This study wants to look at the data and drive conclusions for the good of public interest, and they call for ore studies to be done, instead fo looking at crypto from a pure financial or speculative PoV. Watch this.
