Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst Quiet quitting is a new term for those who just work the minimum to get salary and just live. There are many reasons why, and we could discuss them for hours, from the boomer gen leaving the job market with new gens not wanting to get in the work market "as usual" after a Pandemic and a new cultural revolution, to just people tired of a work culture where the worker is just a cog in the wheel. Not surprisingly people who are extremely proactive and competitive like in this video will criticise this posture, which maybe is a fad, or maybe is something that has been always there but only now is recognised openly. The truth is that most people are trying just to live with their families and enjoy their free time without any trouble about job level progress or career development. And they don't care what the competitive people think about it or if they feel exasperated at this. Everything is changing around us.
