Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst Moving production or manufacturing from one country to other is a big decision and it says a lot about how those countries. China is starting to have some issues due not just because of human rights, but also economic and financial problems, and COVID turmoil. Apple has decided to start first in India before China, something that immediately has been taken by the Indian government to promise all kind of facilities. Of course India needs infrastructure, suppliers' coordination, high levels of security and safety, as Indian customer's service is not the best in the world. So Apple has a long work to do before India gets to the level China has. But is necessary to build redundancy in case of a possible unstable China or disruptions of logistics and supply chain from there. Apple has to diversify outside of China, remaining there but not putting all eggs in one basket.
