Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst "The Merge" is going to be upon us soon. And we will talk about it for some time. Also about its consequences. The crypto industry is hoping it will be for best, but what is going to do to NFTs which are massively based on Ethereum Mainnet. What happens if there is a fork and NFTs are duplicated? Scams, duplications, prices' chaos? Let's remember there are no regulations yet in the NFT world. Anyway, not everything is scammy or bad. The NFT space needs to be healthy, clean and if it's true that PoS of the Merge is energy efficient it will mean transaction fees will get down a lot. We will have to see. Meanwhile an interesting contest the one where women are chosen for influence, innovation, etc as the movers and shakers of Web3. This is to be celebrated in a space where women are a minority but leading with unique points of view and values on how the blockchain on Web3 space should be developed bringing a strength and excitement to reach over barriers, opening new ways.
