Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst Willem Middelkoop doesn't mice his clear and worrying words. There is a lot of social risk in an European economy hit by energy huge prices and the outcome of bad energy politics for many years in the name of new energy paradigms. Europeans are paying these mistakes now. And anything that cascades from there will affect many other countries. Populism and social unrest will dominate the scenery for some time, depending on how this winter goes. Many will not accept the fact that the affluence society is not as safe as it was. Dangers are ahead and with mixture of the Ukrainian conflict where Russia can do anything, the elites showing they don't care very much about normal people, politicians saying lies in the face of reality, and surrounding everything is the global economic and financial crisis. Not easy to be optimistic, but we have to prepare for anything.
