Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst This is the big question which Europe has to answer, and hopefully in a positive way. The EU was created to get a united Europe, but in times of crisis, like with the Pandemic and now, States tend to look at their own people and territories before looking at the great body of Europe. And when this happen the situation will be worse than what can be expected now. It's true that European institutions are suffering from too much bureaucracy, and are not specially loved by European citizens, but they are what Europeans have. European politicians should think beyond their short political terms, if they realise that there is not easy solution to the energy crisis even as a group, less as individual States. This is going to be a melting pot where European principles and values shall be tried and found weak or powerful.
