Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst Listening to artists and some purists there is something in AI Art which makes it not click 10 parent with our perception of what Art is. However, there it is. According to many AI at this stage is not conscious of aesthetics and has no creativity in the human sense, as it is only applying algorithm and language models to its product. So Ai Art wouldn't be a creation but a product of its advanced program which can mimic humans and with time better and better. Maybe people thinking this are right, in fact probably they ARE right. AIs are not conscious or capable of creativity (yet) but there it is. And wherever there is something new someone think on how to make a profit. Here there is an agency representing not the artist using the AI to create art, but the AI itself (and the people which created it!! Of course this means with AI more autonomous and more developed we have AIs which can slowly approach towards creativity in the sense AI can decide by itself (by its program) when how and what art to do. The debate is there. Many don't appreciate the art or even the value coming from an AI now, but should do this change in the next future? not in fifty years time but in ten fifteen years time? We are living in unique times where even creativity is challenged between humans and machines. The world is headed in an AI direction anyway.
