Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst With the narratives so different the story of the conflict in Ukraine is a mess. However, a picture is coming where the losses of Rusia are clear and unless there is a big change in the fronts, Ukraine has the upper hand. Except for the fact that Putin has the joker card: nuclear weapons. The ones which experts call tactic nuclear weapons, which are smaller, able to be used in wars, destroy the enemy army or a city but not like the big strategic bombs of the Cold War. Of course military have been talking about this for some decades now, but this is the first time we are close to a real use of these bombs which are not linked to extinction levels or nuclear winters. If the big bombs was and is a deterrent against conflict (MAD doctrine), the tactic nuclear weapons are able to be used tactically, against enemies in conventional warfare as the thermobaric bombs are used. In fact other nuclear powers don't want to use them as their war doctrines already see how they can get to their objectives with modern tactical no nuclear weapons. The levels of craziness is growing, and if not now, one day will be used. And if Russia loses the conflict with the same people in power...
