Minister in the Presidency Mondli Gungubele, says South Africa currently does not have information substantiating reports from US officials that there could be a terror attack in Sandton, north of Johannesburg, this coming weekend. In an alert released by the US embassy, the U.S. Government says it has received information that terrorists may be planning to conduct an attack targeting large gatherings of people at an unspecified location in the greater Sandton area, on Saturday, for more on this we are joined by Martin Ewi, Regional Coordinator from the Institute for Security Studies.
