Welcome to the sixth edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII), powered by the Future Investment Initiative Institute. FII will be held in Riyadh from 25-27 October 2022 and will convene the world’s foremost CEOs, policymakers, investors, entrepreneurs, and young leaders to shape the future of international investment and the global economy.Last year’s theme—Invest in Humanity—continues to guide our thinking for this year’s FII. Economic opportunities abound across every continent—but supply shocks, inflation, a global energy crisis, and geopolitical conflicts present deep challenges.This year’s FII will include in-depth conversations about new pathways for global investment; analysis of critical industry trends; and unparalleled networking among CEOs, world leaders, and experts.     Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst A great session with Ray Dalioand and the rest of what is called the "Board of Changemakers" talking to Richard Quest. What is coming which we can say is a New Global Order without falling in the dystopian view we fear from those three words? What are the problems governments, institutions, ourselves have to face in order to solve the problems we have now? There are some conclusions here: be practical, realise what ideologies are ready a remora to our development, the need t adopt decisions which are not just to partially solve complexities now, but decisions which help us to solve long term issues in the future starting now, making policies initiatives which will be impacting the future in multi decade period. And politicians usually don't like that. This is one of the aims of this FII, focus on the microenvironment to reflect on what actions, what decisions, where else to focus to be real change makers starting from now, even if we see that the now is going to be tough, the need to go over our personal horizon (important as it is, of course) towards the improvement of our global society is more important. Save the future starting from now, improving the now changing the now. Face the reality, describe it, and work on it. Every action counts. And needs to be shared by us all.
