Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst The blockchain, by its own nature, is disruptive, and transformational. This is easily seen in some fields, and less in others, but actually, until a new alternative or tech comes by, the blockchain is influencing already every field and everything during this shift towards a new paradigm. Journalism has been in a crisis since the beginning of Internet and has tried to get its own place, changing from old tradicional models to agile more specialised ever changing models based on many places, like social media, etc, and with it the beginning of a huge debate on truth, news, misinformation, analysis, ideologies, and the impact of journalism in the society and even the collective consciousness of societies, in democracies, democratures and totalitarian states. The blockchain is going to help to reduce misinformation, certifying the origin and evolution of news. The blockchain is going to grant truth when properly used. The blockchain is going to help with news analysis by making possible for analysts to get proper safe information already in the blockchain. And so on. It also, for instance transform the journalism industry by tokenising it, avoiding the information monopolies which can be tools of ideologies and governments. And so on. Just think the potencial and the possibilities.
