  Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst Creativity is one fundamental human aspect. Animals act for instinct, even highly self-consciuous ones like great apes. But creativity, create content of any kind is typical of the human species. What about then about the "art" created by the actual language and art models, like the now famous chatGPT, Lens AI, and others which no doubt will be surging with time? Yes, they do amazing things. Wonderful pictures, drawings, writings, but are they art as we know it? The answer is negative. At least, not yet, because these programs have no conscience of what they are doing and have very narrow parameters and objectives. Without human input, the real creator, these programs are nothing. What will happen when Singularity happens (whenever happens), and we have an AGI? Maybe it will do art, and create, but also, at least at the beginning will depend on what is basically human, the aesthetics and creativity. Once it "grows" will be able to consider its own products as art? Or it will be different? At the end, what we (any sentient being) look in art is beauty and truth , and an AGI may consider both in a different way. Or not? So many questions. Maybe an AGI will open the doors to expand our own human creativity to a wider vision of that beauty and truth we yearn. But, by now, we are the only ones which can create content.
