Recommended Watch: "By 2050 Humans Will Be Able To Regenerate!" Neil deGrasse Tyson Predicts The Future (youtube.com)
World-famous astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson joins Piers Morgan Uncensored for a discussion on space travel 50 years since man last went to the Moon.

Piers asks Neil about Prince William's recent disregard for the development of space tourism whilst the planet is in need of fixing, and Neil suggests that he is forgetting all the value that Space brings to our everyday life on Earth, such as satellites.

Piers then goes on to question Neil about recent predictions he made about what the year 2050 will be like, and in one answer he said that Humans will be able to regenerate limbs by 2050. Neil suggests that there are animals such as newts who can so maybe with future discoveries it is plausible at some point.

Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst Imagine telling someone in 1885 that in 40 years people would go on cars, and airplanes would be around, with horses disappearing as the usual mean of transport. Imagine telling them about TV, radio, electricity and medical progress. Most of them would take this as fantasies. Now we have science communicators as Neil De Grass Tyson talking about the next decades until 2050 when space exploration will continue to be hugely important, we could have a human presence in the Moon, medicine advances would mean we can regenerate organs in our bodies, and new explorations on new frontiers of knowledge discover totally new things. What can happen with the acceleration of tech is already changing the world in a way that someone living in 1980 suddenly landing in 2023 would feel like an alien, but appearing in the nineteen century would totally understand everything. In fact we see this every day when someone is freed from a long prison term feels lost not just using a smartphone, but even other social development, social mores and discourses. Discovery is not a normal linear growth today. It is exponential and even ourselves now, excited as we are just by hearing this forecasts, find them difficult to understand. This is the adventure of being human in probably the best time for humans to live.
