Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst Puertopia, the plan for Blockchain investors in Puerto Rico, is very controversial from the beginning we heard about it. It has indeed a good foundation. Bring a tool like blockchain and crypto to a place like this, share it build on it, it will transform the life and society of the island. It will reset it. Others more cynic will take about billionaires getting a tax haven and all US benefits they can and even of changing the island in a kind of me-technological colony! There are many problems here compound by the special political and legal association with the rest of US and their own local government issues (a polite way of saying corruption). I believe the announcement of this plan was too early. They should have worked on a blockchain evangelisation, which could have taken the imagination of the island's inhabitants and work together in creating a powerful "imaginary" of a transformed island with blockchain as the catalyst. What do you think?
