But somewhere along the way, Facebook turned into a toxic, political wasteland filled with hate speech and disinformation. Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst Always, always, remember this: "In social media as it is now, WE are the product" and our data is gold for them. Facebook is the one at the front. We understand this and there is a movement to change this or create awareness but, how many would close their accounts for this? Unless a 4th IR digital media appears, and the awareness is global and change is made, this is going to continue.
