2020 was the most chaotic, tough and utterly unpredictable year in recent memory - and it also brought a decade's worth of technological and societal change in the span of just 12 months. Some good things got even better (like working from home) and some bad things got even worse (such as inequality) - but not much stayed the same. What can we expect for 2021, and beyond? Amidst massive geopolitical shifts (a recovering / pivoting USA, a budding 'United States of Europe', and even more powerful and even more difficult to read China), a pandemic that has yet to be fully addressed and eradicated, and global concerns about the crisis' impact on the economy, I explain what I foresee for the coming year and years to come.
"We are not going back to normal!" And 'Normal' wasn't good enough to begin with.
Covid19 is a trial-run for climate change.

Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst The future is more unpredictable than ever, even in short term frame. It's not just that after the Pandemic we live in a different world, it's that there is a shift in everything, rolling out during the next five to ten years.
