Or a dystopian nightmare of a badly managed transhumanism doctrine where elites control our data, not just the public data but even the biological one? The Metaverse, if implemented in the future either in a good or a bad way, will radically change the way we interact with others and with the world. The ethical debate here is huge. Meanwhile we continue experimenting with technology conducive to the metaverse, like NFTs, crypto, etc. Exciting but scary times too.
