Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst Metaverse will be worth many trillions of dollars by 2030. At least is what is forecasted. We talk and read many times about this virtual world, which is shaping the future of our digital world. We can't dismiss the capacity of this new horizon to radically disrupt even our own concept of humanness, the ways we live our lives, both for good and for bad. This is going to transform also our interactions like the whole financial world, what we do, the way we get involved, investment. For some the Metaverse is a construct over the Internet, the next generation of the Internet with an enormous potential, moved by blockchains. As thinkers and rational beings however, we should be skeptic to dream too much too far. We expect an even faster path of tech acceleration which will bring this, but we shouldn't accept everything just because is new. Who is going to regulate, control this? How can we learn to use the Metaverse for the best? Lot of debate here.
