In the next 10 years, University of Oxford estimates that 80% of jobs in America are going to be partly or fully automated.
"One of the exciting things about robotics from a business perspective is that they don't tire they don't go on holiday, they don't call in sick. So you actually save a lot of money" says AI Professor Sandra Wachter.
"But the same story also has to be seen from the employees perspective. Because if you all of a sudden have somebody that does your job twice as good in half the time, you might actually have a problem."

Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst 85M jobs will be lost to robots by 2025. Yes, in three years time. Not in a decade. By 2030, this number will be even bigger. The good outcome: it will free humans from many jobs which are repetitive, with long hours, which are boring... the not so good one: many are just not prepare for this change. It's difficult for many even understand that "my job", which for our parents was a life task now is ephemera and disappear. How many are realising this and trying to educate themselves in new skills? Not to be pessimistic, though, if we go full AI in Robotics, it means even if we train new skills and for the new jobs appearing many, even trying their best, will not be able to cope with the robot powered by a powerful AI. So? Another wave of Luddites in the horizon? Maybe. But Robots at your work and your job are coming and whoever wants to continue to be blind to this is going to have a rude awakening. Work with them. Change yourself with the signs of the times.
