Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst A little clickbait title is not bad if makes watchers come to Aljazeera. AI is not out of control, in the sense of a SF movie with AI robots destroying things and killing humans etc. Maybe it's a call of attention so those who are working on it remember that AI is not just a technology which will change the world per se, but also has profound consequences and deep moral, ethical and spiritual issues which are not easy to understand yet. A "controlled" AI (one which is smart enough but not sentient) will already help the world a lot (unless used, as usual, for nefarious uses in wars and evil plans). An "uncontrolled"AI will be the same as a sentient conscious person. Will it be limited to our human ethics? And more...
