Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst SEC in US may use its regulatory powers to stifle or to support crypto. Actually the last two years are not very encouraging (considering all crypto assets except BTC as securities, f.i.) and going around crypto exchanges. We believe there is need of a regulatory framework, but in the case of US there is a need of a balanced position to allow crypto and DeFi to develop properly, while not allowing scams, frauds, and other assets without fundamentals. Mix it with ESG policies, and others and, as we have already seen in this same channel, we can see how the old system continues to fight crypto by enhancing the negative side (hacks, scams...), instead of protecting the positive and crack down on the negative.
