    Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst Digital streaming platforms are reinventing themselves as fast as they can to compete in a harsh environment where Netflix was the king. Now with many platforms in the market they have to create value which differentiates them from the tradicional ones. Amazon, which already has a good list of series, movies and documentaries wants to go full turn. When movie theatres are closing around the world with people enjoying being at home watching movies, they are preparing a huge content budget: $1 billion a year to produce movies to be released in theatres. This doesn't seem to be a crazy idea for them, if they want to spend so much money, and if the helps to revitalise the movie theatres sector it would help to bring them to the digital world too. Let's see what it will happen from this new move.
