Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst Interesting interview, despite the weird microwave turning stage (check it yourself) which make some people dizzy. Sam Altman being himself, cool against the last week announcements on big OpenAI figures leaving the company, the intention of changing the company to be a for profit one, and the constant challenges of being at the leadership of the biggest and more innovative AI related company. The reflections goes from the very concrete like the different OpenAi products like the voice mode or the o.1 launched last week too, to the role of Italy and Europe potential for innovation (hampered by too much regulation btw), finishing into a call to embrace what is coming in AI and its consequences, looking at the future as a future of hope not a one of doom. Founders and CEOs can learn also some good advice from here. We also get the impression, as usual with Altman, that there are many things he is not saying about how the research on AI has really advanced, and the products launched are just showing a small percentage of what the AI technology could already be doing.
