Lionsgate, one of the largest film studios in the world, recently partnered with Runway to allow every single one of the members in their team to augment their work with AI.
That's a crazy leap forward to integrate AI into film and TV.
But what about OpenAI's Sora? Where is it at? And was the Toys R Us AI ad any good?
What will the future of film and TV actually look like in an AI, and beyond that, an AGI era?
I'm exploring all of this in today's video.
Enjoy!

Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst Lionsgate is trying to Integrating AI models like Runway to produce films and Tv programs. Ai image generation seems not to be as easy to execute as the writing generation. Artists and creators raise their voices for the "lack of creativity" shown by AI and how it would never be se creative as a human being. And the can be true, even with an AGI, as creativity seems to be specifically biological, human and higher sentients. OpenAI #Sora was not the proper LLM in that moment but it opened the way. We are already seeing pictures and small shorts where is more and more difficult to check what is human or CGI, or AI generated. Remembering just seeing last week a zoom meeting where one of the characters was an AI avatar and the participating in the meeting didn't even notice. But the last advances with Artificial Narrow Intelligence, just for the task programmed can be the huge opening giving birth to new forms of media, and deeply changing the whole film, cinema, etc, landscape. nd we are not even entering into the scary world where we can't distinguish between what is real or not in our own screens, when AI can put words we haunt said in our lips in a screen, or change us into different people or characters. Whatever it happens, we can already dream with some people who will be the JohnFord, the Hitchcock, the Nolan and the classic cinema directors in an era of AI.
