Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst AGI coming? Which kind of regulations do we need to control any danger or challenge that may arise from future AI systems, or AGIs? Do we even know how to figure out these regulations? There are so many questions and concerns about AI policies and regulations as this is a completely new tech deployment which can change the world as it is now. Even if we are living in the hype stage of a new tech, the fact is that the speed of changes may overwhelm any regulation or debates about safety and ethics in an AI world. This podcast is somehow pessimistic about safety concerns (the discourse dominated by ex-OpenAI employees which fell down from Sam Altman model of business on this issue. Well, most of us don't even understand or know about the reality inside the companies building AI, and in which stage of AI are they working (as opposed as what they have already in the market). Many questions which unfortunately will have to be answered on the stride before a sufficiently developed AI or AGI just dismisses any regulation once the horses have left the barn.
