Demographer Jennifer Sciubba joins WIRED to answer the internet's questions about population and demographics. What is demography? What perspective can demographics provide about populations and societies? Do fertility rates really matter? Where do most people emigrate from when coming to the United States? And is immigration a net positive or negative? Answers to these questions and plenty more await on Population Support.

Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst The All-In Podcast's latest episode offers fascinating predictions for 2025. Their crystal ball is full of this. In Politics, of course from the US point of view, with a new generation of politicians raising to power there, and Trump’s influence continue to be too strong (well, this is not a prediction, but something that barren a backlash or some unexpected news is coming to stay for a time). In business and tech, what we already know: everything related to AI, and new tech like autonomous robotics, AI agents, is going to thrive, there will be huge changes on traditional enterprise software and there is a present danger on a potential banking crisis due to the US government debt. If you add the Bitcoin moves from the global and US market, everything seems volatile. More in the realm of “we think that…”) is that collaboration between AI and human creativity is going to revolutionise gaming and immersive experiences (scary!) and this is just the beginning of what we can think about it. This year is going to be wild. So wild that even UFO disclosure, the Epstein, JFK and Diddy files will be just another add-on to the expected global big shifts. Are you prepared for these shifts? How might they impact your industry? For us, the fact that AI agents working with humans are going to change everything we do is already a historical shift.
