The relationship between Canada and China has been acrimonious for years. But now the two countries seem to be embarking on a new chapter. Prime Minister Mark Carney has concluded a visit to Beijing – declaring it "historic". Carney said the new strategic partnership with China could set both nations up for what he described as the “new world order”.
