A report in the Wall Street Journal suggests that US President Donald Trump's preferred option is to buy the autonomous territory from Denmark. But the White House has also issued a statement saying all options remain on the table - including military action. A Danish MP has warned "nobody's safe" should the US do the unthinkable and invade Greenland amid growing fears of an imperialist America First agenda from the Donald Trump administration.

Rasmus Jarlov issued the dire warning amid Trump's repeated threats to annex Greenland, a territory that is part of Denmark. Trump and multiple members of his administration have argued Greenland, which is closer to the US than Denmark, is vital to the country's national security.

Under current treaties, the US can station troops on Greenland and has favourable deals in resource extraction. The US has, in fact, reduced its military presence on Greenland following the end of the Cold War.

Hundreds of protesters have taken to the streets after an ICE agent shot and killed a woman in Minneapolis.

Renee Nicole Good, 37, was killed at the wheel of her SUV, which the Trump administration has claimed was driving towards an agent, on Wednesday.

President Trump and Vice-President JD Vance have both doubled down on claims that the ICE agent was acting out of 'self-defence'.

Simon Marks says this moment marks a 'new reality' in America, adding to the already 'febrile' atmosphere across the country.

Marks insists that it is 'inevitable' that there will be more potentially fatal incidents, if ICE continue to behave with the level of violence seen.

Betsy Hodges adds that the transfer of the investigation away from Minnesota's control to the Federal Government shows a 'clear cover-up' within the White House.

James O'Brien callers react to Trump's latest calls for Greenland.

Donald Trump has suggested a US takeover of Greenland could come sooner than many expected as he declared his administration wants to control the Danish territory “right now.”

The White House’s deputy chief of staff has also declared that Greenland ‘should be part of the United States’ and said no country would mount a challenge if Washington took control.

Stephen Miller appeared on CNN and said: “Nobody's gonna fight the United States militarily over the future of Greenland.”

He also challenged Denmark's sovereignty over the island: “What is the basis of their territorial claim?” Miller asked.

The Danish prime minister has warned Trump to let go of his "fantasy".
