Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst The Metaverse's race to be first movers in that environment can be crazy, as seen by the amount of money to purchase Digital Real Estate in there. From Zuckerberg to JPMorgan to anyone with enough money try to get the best places (according to them), without looking very much at actual prices, thinking that having a good strategy will be enough. It's true that, as in real world, expensive real estate is scarce, and that gives it value. However, as it happened with other new ideas and techs, a bubble is unavoidable. The issue will be how big and how it's going to burst before the real estate market in the Metaverse stabilises.

Nowadays, this is not the truth, with exceptions (do you want to be treated by a Doctor without a College degree?). Many having just a skills' degree, or a trade school's degree, can be what employers need just now. There is a danger on the other hand that lowering standards result on worse quality in final products and services, so there has to be a balance which every employer needs to understand to make the best of it.

His reflections on how to build a culture for its company, the importance of caring about personnel, defining what a company can do or not, by sticking to its Mission and Vision. This is the most important thing we hear here. Other things, like opinions on regulation, crypto adoption, and so on are interesting but not as important as underlining that what people at the digital ecosystem should do: not to put the focus on earning money (which is not bad) but to focus on what is important, to build a strong digital financial ecosystem which can be accessed and used by everyone.

Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst Common sense is the less common of the senses, our elders always said. It's our turn now. Whatever is not in your own hands and only there, it's not yours. If you use Metamask or other similar applications and store your NFTs (or crypto, tokens...) without a cold wallet the risk to be hacked and stolen is very high. Investment in a cold wallet is worth the price and the added work. Remember hackers and scammers are really smart.

NFTs are at a crossroad, and the next 6-18 months could decide whether we go down the path of an open or corporate metaverse.
In this video I lay out an argument made by Punk 6529, an influential account from NFT Twitter. The argument goes as follows:
1) Governments/corporations want to maintain and even increase the current state of centralization.
2) Crypto has typically been a home base for decentralization.
3) NFTs are quickly attracting new users and brands, but as crypto gets bigger fewer people care about decentralization.
4) Tech companies are now coming out with alternatives to NFTs and they may take the upper hand.
5) This issue is bigger than you think because the metaverse will be a huge part of society.
Not to be dramatic, but the future is still up in the air and It's up to us to decide where the space goes from here.

Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst We believe this is a valid and important reflection: is the Metaverse going to be open, towards decentralisation, or centralised in a corporate dominated Metaverse? A tiny group of corporations are dominating everything in the Metaverse and getting into NFTs. Let's remember Bitcoin came to enhance self-reliance and go beyond the financial world centralisation. But now many seem don't even care about the issue of centralisation or decentralisation. What about you? Thinking ahead, and if everything comes as it should, the Metaverse will be as important in our lives as Internet is now. Will we be just living under centralised corporations Metaverse platforms? Imagine then when politicians, authoritarian regimes or religious (or scientists) cults have their own Metaverse platforms.... Science Fiction? No. It's one of the possible futures we must ponder to avoid dystopian sceneries.
